Eφαρμογή Ofire+

It is implemented in the framework of the Program “Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship & Innovation” and it is co-financed by the European Union and national resources through the O.P. Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship & Innovation (EPANEK)

Ofire+

Ofire + is a human-oriented decision-making system for managing (prevention, early warning-response and information) crises related to the occurrence of wildfires.

The key components of the system are the administration application (cloud) and the mobile application (mobile app). The two parts are complementary and the communication channel they create through their connectivity remains the critical advantage of the system, beyond the individual functions and information provided by each part separately.

The aim of the Ofire + system is to create a comprehensive but affordable commercial solution for crisis management related to wildfires, timely response and enhancing the resilience of major tourism infrastructure, culture, infrastructure and production facilities of primary (agriculture), secondary (handicrafts-industries) or tertiary sector (health) as well as Municipalities facilities and/or private buildings and/or individual households, having in mind the importance of shifting the dealing with wildfires to prevention and not to repression. The project partner is Omikron Environmental Consultants SA

The total budget of the project is € 225,200 with a public expenditure of the amount € 171,199.

Ofire+ (Seal of Excellence)

The project is about the preparation of a feasibility study and a business plan for the development - expansion of the Ofire+ system. Ofire+ is a human-centered decision support system (DSS) for the management (prevention, early warning-response and information) of crises related to the occurrence of wildfires.

The key components of the system are the administration application (cloud) and the mobile application (mobile app). The two parts are complementary and the communication channel they create through their connectivity remains the critical advantage of the system, beyond the individual functions and information provided by each part separately.

The initial funding proposal was submitted to the SME Instrument on 08/12/2017 where it received a Seal Of Excellence as it exceeded the score, but was not funded due to exhaustion of the financial instrument. It was then submitted as a proposal in Intervention IV of the 2nd cycle of the Action "Research-Create-Innovate" of the operational program "COMPETITIVENESS, ENTREPRENEURSHIP & INNOVATION" (EPANEK) on 29/5/2019. The project partner is Omikron Environmental Consultants SA.

The total budget of the project is € 71.429 with a public expenditure of the amount € 50.000.

e-Graze

E-graze aspires to integrate various scientific and technological components from the fields of remote sensing and the internet of things to develop new, efficient, commercial services aimed at the rational use and management of grazing land, with the aim of enhancing and of industry entrepreneurship.

The project adopts an interdisciplinary and multi-level approach achieved through the adoption, adaptation and application of innovative information and remote sensing technologies for the regular monitoring of agri-environmental indicators of the quality status and productivity of grazing land. The generated data, using computer intelligence algorithms and GIS, will be combined to create high-definition geospatial products that will meet the needs of users.

The project is addressed to and collaborates with user communities (breeding/meat production) who are the final recipients of the proposed services. Partners of the project are the companies Omikron Environmental Consultants SA, Agrokat (coordinator), Sustainability, Agromet and the Panserraki Livestock Association.

The total budget of the project is € 557.880 with a public expenditure of the amount € 412.079.

SmartbeeKeep

The SmartBeeKeep project aspires to take advantage of modern developments in Information and Communication technologies in the fields of beekeeping and biodiversity study by proposing an innovative platform that will serve and facilitate beekeeping activity and research, in Greece and internationally.

The main objectives are: (a) the provision of tools for the participatory mapping of beekeeping flora and the study of local biodiversity, while for selected plant species the approximate estimation of flowering time at an early stage will be investigated, (b) the provision of new innovative facilities and services to the beekeeping community (beekeepers, analysis laboratories and beekeeping researchers) and (c) the evaluation of applications through a pilot application in two study areas of the Prefecture of Thessaloniki, to demonstrate that local biodiversity in combination with "smart" beekeeping leads to products high added value as well as saving on management and production resources. Partners of the project are: Omikron Environmental Consultants SA, the beekeeping - sericulture laboratory of AUTh, CERTH-IPTYL and CERTH-INEV.

The total budget of the project is € 664.520 with a public expenditure of the amount € 629.812.

Sealoc

The SeaLoc project aims to create a comprehensive system of forecasts and relative services for the Greek seas that will provide interaction with users, both through the internet and social media, as well as through specialized applications, the results of which will be immediately usable by the target groups.

The design of the project implementation methodology, aims to gather all the necessary tools, to acquire all the necessary knowledge and to capitalize all the necessary know-how, so that in the future the SeaLoc system could cover the Greek seas and the Mediterranean Sea. The wide implementation of the system will result in the free dissemination of quality and practical maritime forecasts on the internet, while its financial viability will result from the provision of targeted services of detailed local spatial and temporal scale to separate target groups through the application of mobile devices.

The project aims to create a standard for the Greek data system of weather - marine forecasts. The services provided will be channeled to the general public in a "smart" way, technologically modern and above all intelligible and useful. Partners of the project are the companies OMIKRON Environmental Consultants SA (Coordinator) and DRAXIS Environmental SA.

The total budget of the project is € 344.415,92 with a public expenditure of the amount € 250.765,02.
